NASA’s Hubble spots galaxies nearly as old as the universe itself

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has spotted some pretty old galaxies. On Wenesday, NASA scientists announced the Hubble Space Telescope has discovered a previously unseen swath of primitive galaxies, some of the oldest every imaged. The latest images, the result of an ambitious Hubble survey of an intensively studied patch of sky known as the Ultra Deep Field (UDF), is widely viewed as as stunning array of the early universe, when stars and galaxies were just beginning to form...
